Just cut off a length of tape to fit around your spool, plus a little extra so it goes completely around with an extra piece that will cling over the tape underneath. Try it, not only on your embroidery threads but to tidy any threads on a spool or reel.

It can even be cut to the right width and length to tidy pre wound bobbins. Made in Australia. Each pack contains 1 roll of tape - 25mm wide x 10m in length.
