Envelope Purse with Lace
This beautiful Envelope Purse created by Susan Zellers is done completely In-the-Hoop, no extra sewing required. This is a fun and easy way to make an accessory for any outfit or just a quick little gift. Use silks and satins with lace embroidery to make a wedding purse or just a fun piece of patterned cotton. This purse is made with only one piece of fabric that is cut 9 inches wide and 45 inches long (selvage to selvage), you will want to pick a fabric that does not have a directional design. For this example a piece of machine embroidered lace from the Vintage Lace collection has been used. A monogram can be added as well as crystals or bedding.
