The Sewing Revolution 6/8

The Sewing Revolution 6/8 is a 13" circle made of poly carbonate. From the centre point there are circles that graduate out at andfrac14;" intervals. The circle is divided by 45anddeg; lines into 8 equal segments (red lines) and by 60anddeg; lines into 6 equal segments (blue lines). Repositioning marks enable further division of the circle. At each intersection of lines and circles, is a small hole for marking with a fine tip marker.
The Sewing Revolution™ is a Multi Purpose Tool.
To Draw a Shape:
Hexagon:
- Select the size circle required for the hexagon
- Place a dot on each blue line around the same circle
- Remove 'The Sewing Revolution™ and join the dots
Triangle:
- Mark the centre point (C)
- Mark 1 inch either side of the centre point
- Mark 2 inches above the centre point
- Join the dots

Arcs & Circles - The Sewing Revolution™ will help find the central pivot point when sewing an arc or circle around a particular design (i.e. embroidery, lace motif or applique) using the circular sewing attachment for your sewing machine. Most sewing machine companies have a circular sewing attachment available as an optional extra.
Embroidery Positioning - The Sewing Revolution™ can be used to position machine embroidery within many shapes including circles, squares, hexagons etc.
Repositioning - The repositioning dots enable the division of the circle into 12 or 16 equal sections. There are 4 sets in total (2 internal and external sets).
